As part of annual enterprise governance activities, Boards, executive teams and business unit leaders undertake strategic and business planning activities. The Executive Innovation Centre specialises in facilitating strategic plan development and annual business planning activities.
Our facilitated strategic plan development involves a pre-consultation activity, executive workshop and two follow up sessions with the strategic plan sponsor. This is a highly sought after program which fully engages participants and delivers excellent results, leading to the production of a published 3-5 year strategic plan.
The annual business planning program can be conducted as either a facilitated group activity with the organisation’s leadership team, or via a series of targeted sessions with key executives designed to work in with your organisation’s business commitments.
For senior leaders, finding time to invest in your own growth and development is challenging. The Executive Innovation Centre offers executive coaching on an individual session basis or via a dedicated 3 or 6-month program. The Executive Innovation Centre offers three tailored programs for Boards and Risk and Audit Committees designed to support the fulfilment of their accountabilities.
- Half Day Risk Management Program: This program is commonly utilised to refresh the Board’s approach to governance, risk management and assurance
- One Day Assurance Program: This program is designed to provide the Board or Committee with the latest assurance and governance concepts to enable them to update their knowledge on strategic assurance arrangements

Coronavirus has impacted businesses, communities and economies globally. Wherever there is risk, there is also opportunity. The COVID-19 Risk Bounce Back Program works with Executives, organisational leaders and business owners to reset their business, pivot the business model and proactively manage the associated risks.
The Risk Bounce Back Program is delivered over a 6-week period and includes an initial 3-hour session to identify your immediate needs, leading to the development of a risk response pathway to help your organisation get back on its feet stronger than before.
The Executive Innovation Centre delivers an Executive Program designed for Indigenous Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Delivered over a 3-month period, this program is underpinned by a risk-based approach and develops the capability for business leaders and executives to leverage risk management in strategic development and day-to-day management. This program has 6 modules that cover:

- Module 2: Managing Risk
- Module 3: Providing Assurance
- Module 4: Leveraging Culture
- Module 5: Driving Change
- Module 6: Resetting Business Strategy
A limited number of scholarships are available for this program and are subject to an application process.
Are you looking for a facilitator to run a risk workshop? The Executive Innovation Centre has a specialised program designed to be a one-stop-shop for your risk workshop. Developed to reduce the preparation and workload on you, these workshops are run by our team of certified risk professionals who will undertake the preparations, facilitate the workshop, compile the workshop results and also produce your risk register, risk management plan or risk profile if needed.
If you do not have a risk software tool or are not confident that the format, risk matrix or language you are currently using is the best it could be, then our team can assist. If needed, we can provide the right tools and format for the workshop to ensure the output produced is fit for your purpose and meets any specific compliance requirements.
The Executive Innovation Centre has a series of risk management courses ranging from short courses to qualification-based training. The courses offered through the Executive Innovation Centre can be delivered to your organisation as company-based training starting with the foundation 3-hour course and can include professional risk management qualifications at various levels.

The Executive Innovation Centre offers a series of events and masterclasses throughout the year targeted at developing the capability of executives, leaders, and risk management professionals.
Masterclasses are delivered by world class experts who have advanced knowledge in their chosen field. Delivered in a tutorial style group format, these masterclasses are designed to push your capability and stretch you professionally.
Guest speakers will address events such as business breakfasts, presentations and networking functions to inspire you and support your professional development. Dedicated industry events are also hosted at the Executive Innovation Centre
